How to Replace the Degassing Valve

Step 1: Open the Lid & Push Out the White Degassing Valve

Open the lid and gently push the white degassing valve out from the inside.

Step 2: Close the Lid & Secure the Lock

Close the lid and fasten the locking clamps to keep the lid stable.

Step 3: Check the Silicone Ring & Insert the Valve or Seal Plug

Make sure the silicone ring is properly seated and flat. Then insert either:

a new white degassing valve (white side facing downward), ora black silicone sealing plug for airtight storage.

Step 4: Install the Date Tracker

Place the date tracker on top and set it to record your storage date.
