Unlike traditional steeping methods, this infusion uses gentle steam pressure to draw flavor and aroma from fresh ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, and cloves—producing a clean, concentrated cup with remarkable depth.

How to Make the Golden Root Infusion


Fresh Roots. Whole Spices. No Powders.
Ingredients (Half Basket):
• Fresh ginger — 1 tbsp (finely shredded)
• Fresh turmeric — 1 tbsp (finely shredded)
• Cinnamon stick — 1 small piece (2–3 cm)
• Whole cloves — 2


Finely shred for even steam extraction
Fresh roots release their aroma best when finely shredded.
Avoid packing—keep ingredients loose and airy.


Fill the basket halfway
This recipe is calibrated for a 6-cup moka pot.
The basket should be half full (2–2½ tbsp total ingredients).
Optional: Cafecito dosing ring (sold separately) sits on top of the moka pot for easy and quick dosing.


Secure with the micro-fine filter
Nestle the cinnamon and cloves on top, then place the micro-fine stainless steel filter at the midpoint.
This keeps ingredients in place while allowing optimal steam flow.


Low–Medium Heat | Steam Activated
Brew on low–medium heat for 6–8 minutes.
Steam gently carries aroma and flavor upward—without boiling the ingredients.
During brewing, always keep the moka pot lid closed with the anti-splash valve securely in place. The valve is designed to minimize splashes and prevent overflow while allowing a smooth, controlled infusion.
