1. Fill the Boiler with Water

Water level: Fill the lower chamber up to the safety valve (do not exceed this line).Water type: Use fresh, soft water (low in minerals) to prevent limescale buildup and ensure better-tasting coffee. Why? Hard water can leave deposits, affecting flavor and the pot’s longevity.

2. Add Coffee Grounds

Grind & blend: Use a medium-fine grind (similar to table salt) and a high-quality espresso-style blend.Dosing: Fill the filter basket generously (no need to tamp—just level it off). Pro tip: Create a slight indentation in the center to prevent grounds from sticking to the edges.Assembly: Securely screw the top chamber onto the base, ensuring a tight seal to avoid steam leaks.

3. Heat Properly

Stove setting: Use low to medium heat—the flame should never surround the pot, only cover the base.Brewing time: Extraction should take 3-5 minutes. When you hear a gurgling sound, immediately remove from heat. Why? Too much heat scalds the coffee, making it bitter.

4. Serve Immediately
