PHASE 1: Descaling Your Machine
Option A: For Machines with Automatic Descaling Cycle:
1. Ensure the water tank is empty. Pour one entire 100ml bottle of Ouxunus Descaling Solution into the empty tank.
2. Add 1 liter of fresh water to the tank.
3. Start the machine’s built-in automatic descaling program and let it run completely (approx. 20-30 minutes).
4. Once the program finishes, discard any remaining liquid. Rinse the water tank thoroughly.
5. Refill the tank with clean water and run 1-2 water-only cycles to rinse the internal system.

Option B: For Machines Requiring Manual Descaling:
1. Empty the water tank. Pour one entire 100ml bottle of Ouxunus Descaling Solution into the empty tank.
2. Add 1 liter of fresh water to the tank.
3. Start the machine’s brewing process (as if making coffee, but without coffee grounds). Run about half of the solution through, then turn off the machine and let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
4. Start the machine and run the remaining solution through. Discard any leftover liquid.
5. Rinse the water tank thoroughly. Refill with clean water and run multiple cycles until the water runs clear and any taste/smell of descaling solution is gone.

PHASE 2: Installing the New Water Filter
1. After descaling and rinsing are fully complete, take your new Ouxunus Compatible Filter.
2. Rinse the external surface of the filter under cold running water.
3. Install it correctly into the holder inside the machine’s water tank.
4. Fill the tank with fresh, clean water.
5. Without coffee grounds, run one water-only cycle. Your machine is now ready to brew coffee!
